About Hot Yoga Baltimore

Hot Yoga Baltimore formerly Bikram Yoga Catonsville is a scientific and therapeutic form of hatha yoga done in a heated room. It includes 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises to give you a meditative and challenging experience. This system works every part of your body and is restorative so you can do it on a daily basis. The Studio
Conveniently located 10 minutes south of downtown Baltimore and 10 minutes north of BWI airport. We are easy to find with tons of FREE parking. Please be aware our studio is on the second floor with no handicapped access. Our front door is located next to Pollo Chicken.

The Heat
It’s healthy for you!
We use Prestyl FAR infrared panels. FAR infrared has been found to eliminate heavy metals, poison, and carcinogenic material from our bodies. It increases blood flow and relieves sore muscles. It increases enzyme activity in the digestive tract, boosts metabolism, and heals scars (and this before you even do yoga!).

It’s good for the environment!
When you practice in our studio: you leave a minimal carbon foot print. Our heat uses 50% less energy than a traditional forced air heating system.

Our HVAC for the yoga room is a breath of fresh air. Literally! We have a UV light air filter that kills bacteria when circulating the air in and out of the yoga room. We also have an ERV unit that sucks out CO2 and pumps in fresh oxygen without disrupting the temp of the room.

Meet the team

Lynne Farrell

In 2006, seeking a new workout post-breakup, I found solace in Bikram Yoga, which soon became my passion and obsession. Despite initial reluctance, I underwent intense teacher training in Hawaii in 2007, grappling with my fear of public speaking. Over 13 years of teaching, I've witnessed the transformative power of yoga, transitioning from a massage therapist to a yoga instructor. Opening Hot Yoga Baltimore formerly Bikram Yoga Catonsville in 2017 has been a journey of continual growth, especially navigating the challenges of operating during a pandemic.

Kim Griffith

In 2012, while dancing professionally for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, I discovered Bikram Yoga, experiencing its transformative benefits firsthand. Motivated by the relief it provided for my dance injuries, I became dedicated to sharing its advantages, eventually becoming a certified teacher. Now, I proudly call Hot Yoga Baltimore my home studio.

Kyle Kessenich

In 2002, I moved from California to Baltimore, feeling lost and disconnected. Discovering Bikram Yoga transformed my life. The practice not only improved my physical health but also provided a path to emotional healing and self-discovery. Through consistent practice, I found strength, balance, and inner peace, ultimately returning to my true self. Since completing Bikram Teacher Training in 2007, I've been teaching full-time and continue to find joy and purpose in the Hot Yoga Baltimore formerly Bikram Yoga Catonsville community, where I'm constantly evolving and embracing my authentic self.
